She completed a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. She chose this program because one of the Program Directors and Mentors, Dr Melvin Silverstein could offer a once in a lifetime experience. Dr Silverstein is an esteemed pioneer in the field of Breast Surgery. He developed the Van-Nuys Prognostic Index which aims to objectively determine the aggressiveness of DCIS in terms of the likelihood of ‘local recurrence’ following ‘breast conserving’ surgeries.
Dr Ryan co-authored a paper describing and evaluating Dr Silverstein's approach: "Extreme Oncoplasty." For decades he has taught his fellows the importance of breast conservation and achieving a superior surgical outcome.

The training she received was incredible and the beaches were beautiful! However, home was always the Northeast. After seeing so many state-of-the-art facilities across the country she couldn't have been happier to find an exceptional practice right here in Manchester, New Hampshire. She joined the practice in November 2018. She immediately knew it was the perfect fit!
